Cacaotale was born in the fertile land of Sigi, Central Sulawesi, where the earth nurtures Indonesia’s finest cacao. From here, we dedicate ourselves to producing carefully fermented cacao beans, crafted with precision and respect for the land and its people.
This journey begins with honouring the past, listening to the wisdom of farmers whose knowledge has been passed down through generations, and whose hands care for each tree and harvest with devotion.
In the present, we are committed to nurturing every step of the process. Fermentation is not just a method for us, but an art that unlocks the unique character of Sigi’s cacao — rich, complex, and full of story. By empowering local communities and supporting sustainable practices, we ensure that this art is preserved and shared with integrity.
